About Us
I started this web site to give the average motorcyclist a place to get and share useful information about motorcycles. I am in no way a motorcycle expert. This isn’t meant to be an in depth technical site for motorcycles.
I have been riding motorcycles for 22 years. I love every time I get on my bike. I grew up around motorcycles; My grandfather, dad, uncles and my brother all ride. I have only owned three motorcycles: 1982 Yamaha 400 Maxim, 1991 Honda 750 Nighthawk and now a 2008 Yamaha 1300 FJR A.
I usually just ride on Saturdays. Sundays are spent at church. Once in a while I will get out for a short spin during the week. I usually ride in a group of 2 to 4 people, not that it matters, it just seems to work out like that. Our rides are generally 300 to 400 mile days, sometime a little more. I have been on a few weekend trips and only 1 week long trip. The week trip was awesome! My wife and I went with another couple. We left from Cincinnati, Ohio to Shenandoah National Park (awesome). We then rode down to Cherokee, up through the Smoky's and back to Cincinnati.
